Update! Opening around noon! Waiting for a delivery. I’m sure the owners will appreciate everyone’s patience as they work out the kinks!
Go Greek Yogurt will officially open Saturday at 148 N Larchmont Blvd.
The wait is over! Go Greek Yogurt will officially open today.
“I am so glad we are finally open,” owner Yan Yampolsky told the Buzz. “We will be open Saturday at 10 am. It’s a soft opening this coming week, and we are working out the hours, but we plan to be open from 10 am to 10 pm.”
We confess to bugging Yampolsky a lot over the past few days, especially after they did a quick pop-up last Saturday, passing out free yogurt.
“We were testing the machines and teaching our staff,” explained Yampolsky. While it wasn’t announced, word traveled fast. They ended up serving over 300 people with free samples. If you missed it, now is your chance to check it out.
The shop is owned by Yampolsky and his wife, Michelle, who are huge fans of the product. Yampolsky told us he’s been working on getting a franchise for quite some time and was thrilled to score a location on Larchmont. Joining Yampolsky in the venture are family members, Simon Tikhman and Erin Foster, who recently moved to Windsor Square. Foster, writer and creator of the hit Netflix show “Nobody Wants This,” brought the show to the neighborhood a few weeks ago, filming several locations on Larchmont Blvd, including Go Greek Yogurt.
“Simon and Erin love their new neighborhood and are as excited as we are about bringing Go Greek Yogurt to the community,” Yampolsky told the Buzz.
An official grand opening is planned; stay tuned to the Buzz for details.

New Plaque for Larchmont Parking Lot Lights
Larchmont’s city parking lot has a new plaque. Installed today, the plaque recognizes the Windsor Square Hancock Park Historical Society (WSHPHS) for its donation of the bistro lights in the parking lot in July 2023. The installation was done by the landscaping team that has been enhancing the planting beds for the past several months.
“It was great to see the installation of the plaque for the lights of the parking lot finally done today,” WSHPHS President Richard Battaglia told the Buzz. “The Historical Society is proud to have donated the funds for this good cause, contributing to the ambiance of our wonderful Larchmont Boulevard.”
The new plaque fits into the newly revamped planting beds, which continue to be improved through the efforts of the Larchmont Boulevard Association’s beautification committee. Recently, more mulch and boulders have been added to the beds to support and protect the new plants.
“It’s exciting to bring these different elements of the neighborhood together and recognize all the organizations that support efforts to beautify our town square, ” LBA President Romi Cortier told the Buzz.
The parking lot lights were the second phase of the bistro light project, which started in the Fall of 2022 with the installation of 15 strands of lights on the Boulevard, supported by generous donations and grants from the community. The lighting project was initiated as a joint effort of the Larchmont Village Business Improvement District, whose members include all the property owners on Larchmont Blvd. between Beverly Blvd. and First Street, and the Larchmont Boulevard Association. Several neighborhood associations and other groups, as well as individuals, also supported the installation. In a third and final phase, more bistro lights were installed on North Larchmont Boulevard in December 2025, thanks to a community grant from Paramount Studios.

Beverly Grove Forms New Community Group
The Beverly Grove Neighborhood Association (BGNA) launched last month as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, formed to advocate for residents ahead of big changes on the horizon: a new Metro station, sweeping zoning changes under SB 79, and ongoing development pressure.
Leading the charge are President Danielle Peters — land use attorney, community organizer, and Beverly Grove native — and Secretary Shelley Wagers, a retired journalist and longtime local land use advocate.
The two previously led community efforts around the Television City redevelopment and are channeling that energy into a formal organization built to last.
🗺️ Serving the area between Fairfax, Melrose, San Vicente/La Cienega & Orange St.
