De mis épocas favoritas en México. He perdido la práctica de disparar, editar, publicar - todo en un segundo “o se va el boom del algoritmo”.
He dejado de hablar en contra de la velocidad a la hora de crear porque sonaré por siempre repetitiva.
Pero ya que estoy aquí: te digo. Si eres buenísimo para publicar al instante, te admiro y ojalá ser algún día como tú. Pero si eres tortuga como yo, no dejes de publicar jamás porque “ya voy tarde”.
Ve a tu ritmo en la creación. El apuro lo pone un sistema cuyo único fin es vender.
Una cosa es tu obra. La otra es su venta.
I think it’s sad when photographers strive for perfection. Unless that is their truest eye, meaning their sincerest way of seeing: then it is merely cookie cutter, dull, imagery - multiplied and cloned to the extent that it’s no longer even truly experienced.
Photography loses its entire meaning when it is seen and not 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙙.
The only antidote to that is to make sure the moment of shooting is also a moment of 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. #streetphotography
