“The maternity shoot almost got cancelled… because the baby came before the photoshoot.” 🤭✨
This post is long overdue.
Back in February, I had my very first travel work experience, and honestly, it came with a story I’ll never forget.
A very good friend invited me to photograph his wife’s maternity session. We had planned everything for months — studio booked, flight tickets paid for, shoot date fixed, outfits ready… everything was set.
Then, just a few days before the shoot, life surprised us beautifully.
Their baby boy decided he couldn’t wait anymore and arrived earlier than expected. 😂❤️
At that point, we were all wondering:
“Should we cancel the shoot?”
Because technically… there was barely any baby bump left.
But after thinking about it, we realized this moment was still worth documenting.
The experience, the journey, the emotions — everything still mattered. So we decided to go ahead with the session using what we had left of the bump.
And surprisingly?
These photos turned out far more beautiful than we imagined. ✨
Sometimes, the most unplanned moments create the most meaningful memories.
