Case: WAVES Shopping Centre, Denmark 🌊
WAVES Shopping Centre in Greve transformed its atrium into a family destination with a fully customised sea-themed indoor playground, where the WAVES brand comes to life through playful maritime design and a striking lighthouse tower.
Created together with our local partner @Maxplay , this project is a great example of how themed play environments can make retail spaces more engaging and welcoming for families.
Every community is unique. That is why we offer tailored consultation and design services to help bring your vision to life from the very beginning.
Whether your goal is to reduce environmental impact, enhance accessibility, or create a space with long-term value, we work closely with you to develop solutions that reflect your values. Our custom approach includes adaptable product options and inclusive layouts. Sustainability and durability are considered at every stage.
Together, we create places that support wellbeing, celebrate diversity, and stand the test of time.
Play is a right, not a reward.
And inclusion begins with design.
Every child deserves the chance to move, discover, and connect, regardless of ability.
That’s why Prime includes inclusivity ratings, developed in collaboration with the Finnish Paralympic Committee. These ratings help designers and planners understand how each product supports a wide range of needs, from mobility to sensory and cognitive abilities.
It’s a tool for professionals. But more importantly, it’s a promise to every child: You belong here.

Here are a few snippets from the 15th China International Garden Expo in Wenzhou, an experience we will cherish for a long time.
We were truly delighted to be part of this remarkable event. For us at IFLA, it marked an especially meaningful milestone as we inaugurated our very own pavilion: an extraordinary moment that reflects both our journey and our aspirations.
The day began with the inauguration of the pavilion, followed by the tree plantation ceremony. In the evening, we gathered at the pavilion for an international landscape cultural exchange session titled “Shared Wisdom and United Endeavor – the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture (CHSLA) & IFLA International Dialogue on Landscape Architecture Development.” It was a moment of thoughtful dialogue, shared perspectives, and global connection.
As April celebrates World Landscape Architecture Month, we couldn’t have imagined a more fitting setting than the beautiful city of Wenzhou, China. We are deeply grateful to CHSLA for partnering with us and helping turn this into reality. Our sincere thanks also go to our corporate partners, Lappset Group and CLARB - Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards, for joining us and sharing your insights.
More to follow.
When we design with the environment in mind, we create more than sustainable spaces. We build relationships between people and place. Designing for long-term environmental harmony means selecting materials that endure and planning layouts that complement the landscape rather than competing with it. These decisions help reduce environmental impact while creating spaces that feel natural, inclusive, and rooted in their surroundings.
Every element is an opportunity to protect what matters, foster a sense of belonging, and pass something meaningful to the next generation.

Case: Orchard Park, Windermere Estate, Victoria 🍎
A custom ‘apple crate’ tower inspired by the area’s agricultural heritage, built on the flexibility of Lappset Cubic.
The outcome? A playful landmark that invites climbing, social interaction and imaginative play.
In collaboration with Risland, GbLA and Lark Industries, this project shows how modular systems can enable ambitious, place-led design.
Prime blends the clarity of Nordic design with the joy of movement.
With bold primary shapes, soft edges, and warm wooden forms, it speaks a design language that feels both grounded and uplifting, inviting play without overwhelming the senses.
It’s calm.
It’s joyful.
It belongs in every landscape.

As the world becomes more connected, so does the way we play. Today’s children and young people are growing up surrounded by technology, but meaningful play doesn’t have to happen in front of a screen. Lappset Interactive combines sound, light, and motion to create play experiences that are fully physical, fully outdoors, and full of possibilities. With real-time feedback, these smart products respond to every movement, step, and touch.
These experiences go beyond entertainment. They invite collaboration, spark imagination, and support inclusive play across a wide range of ages and abilities.

Great design welcomes everyone. It doesn’t ask who can participate; it ensures that all voices, all bodies, all experiences are considered from the start.
Inclusive design is the foundation of shared joy. With the right tools, urban planners, architects, and contractors can create parks and playgrounds where everyone can move, connect, and feel at home, no matter their ability, age, or background.
Whether you're designing a city square, a school courtyard, or a neighbourhood fitness trail, inclusive thinking creates environments that spark social interaction, imagination, and equality.
