Nostalgia is currently a defining currency in luxury hospitality. The old ways are fashionable once more, with guests valuing interesting traditions and human connection over generic consumption and sterile minimalism.
Tapping into this shift, FERUS looked to the 1920s to shape the future of Le Grand, Gstaad Palace’s main restaurant. We reintroduced service à table, revived details such as finishing soufflés and flambéing Crêpes Suzette at the table, and developed the restaurant’s naming and identity.

A RÊVE IN THE SUN ☀️
AREV, or AR, is the primary sun god in Armenian mythology — a symbol of light, warmth, and life-giving energy. Rooted in this meaning, the emblem designed for AREV ST.TROPEZ is inspired by a remarkable bronze artifact discovered in 2015 near Lake Sevan, Armenia — the homeland of the family behind the brand.
Crafted in the 2nd millennium BC, the statuette is believed to represent a complex model of the solar system, with the Sun (AREV) at its center, making it a powerful reference for the brand and its cultural heritage.
