We kicked off National Police Week with @lapdcsp at LAPD Recruitment Training 💙
What an incredible experience to be in a room full of the next generation of law enforcement, ready to serve their communities. We came together to motivate, inspire, and open the floor. Giving community members a real platform to speak their truth and connect face to face with the officers who will serve their communities.
This is what bridging the gap looks like. And we’re grateful to do this work alongside partners who believe in it just as much as we do.
To every officer who has served, who is serving now, and to all the law enforcement leaders who show up for our youth…thank you for showing up.

Congratulations to our Strive students who received the Operation Progress Scholarship.

The young men at @verbumdeijesuit are ready to take on the world! 🌎
During today's very special commitment ceremony, Seniors revealed to their family and friends where they would be attending school in the fall. Many students received multiple scholarship offers so the day was full of fun surprises! 🎉
We are so proud of the graduates and the families, school staff, and CSP officers that worked hard to get them this far! 👨🏽🎓👨🏽🎓
Deputy Chief Flores, ACO Joel Lopez, Captain Hawkins, Lt. Sanchez, Lt. Hagerty and CSP Ramona Gardens officers had a great time celebrating el día de los niños with the staff and students at @santateresitaschool .
Many of the participating students live in Ramona Gardens, just across the street from the school, making this event a meaningful reflection of the strong bond between the community and its youth.
The day started off with a walkathon, and upon completing their laps, students were rewarded with yummy food, games, and prizes. The walkathon not only encouraged a lifelong commitment to health and fitness, but also reinforced the values of service, unity, and giving back. As students walked to raise funds supporting the school’s operations, they demonstrated the power of community driven efforts and the importance of investing in future generations.
Principal Villaneda said it best when she remarked that educators and law enforcement have the same common goals- to create safe, nurturing spaces where students feel supported and inspired to grow.
Together we're not just shaping futures but building communities where everyone has a chance to thrive. 💙
