Davide Lantermoz (b. 1979, Aosta, Italy) lives and works between Berlin and the Italian Dolomites. A few years ago, him and his family moved to a small village, so he divides his time between his studio in Berlin and his home in the mountains.
His work focuses on the visual rhythm of materials in their raw state, as well as in sculptural and painterly form. Through process and reduction, he searches for minimal elements that activate a work. Rather than reconstructing reality through familiar images, he allows new possibilities to emerge directly from the material itself.
