With multiple soundstages up to 55,000 square feet within the 30 mile zone, LA North Studios allows for the construction of complex sets that would be prohibitively expensive or even impossible to build elsewhere.

Now in theaters, the biopic “Michael” filmed heavily in Los Angeles, staying true to the life of its subject. A recipient of the California Film & TV Tax Credit, the production shot at the Jackson family’s Hayvenhurst home in Encino and at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel. “Thriller” scenes return to their original Boyle Heights settings at the Palace Theatre, Union Pacific Avenue, and Calzona Street, ending at the Carroll Avenue house. Many interiors were filmed at Sony Pictures Studios.
The dark comedy-drama “Outcome,” now on Apple TV, filmed throughout Los Angeles, from residential Tarzana in the San Fernando Valley to the beaches of Malibu and urban streets of Downtown. Specific backdrops include Outpost Estates in Hollywood Hills, Pinz Bowling Kitchen in Studio City, and Indian Alley in DTLA. Paramount Studios was also used for production.
