Langackerhäusl works through transformation. With simple tools and an analog process, material is pushed beyond expectation, shaped into forms that remain deeply human.
IO explores a quiet paradox. Circular and linear elements interlock, forming chains that hold both unity and tension.
Repetition builds structure. Variation introduces rhythm.
Each link stands on its own, yet exists fully only within the whole.
Made entirely from paper, the pieces carry an unexpected balance of strength and lightness, revealing what a material can become when pushed to its limits.

Creating headwear accessories widens the scope of where paper can be worn and how it can be used.
To best implement its virtues, we developed styles and techniques which prioritize both the comfort and individuality of the wearer.
Through an entirely analog handworking process, we design and construct our 100% paper hats featuring @vieboeckleinen Panama weave textile.
Its remarkable evenness and surprising durability lies within the cellulose threads woven into its grid patterned surface.
Washed, sundried and gently distressed for enhanced pliability, the paper is formed and sewn into place.
Relaxed shapes, rumpled textures and frayed edges emphasize its raw, natural beauty and casual
spirit.
