Yesterday marked Pamâs final day as Executive Director of Landâs Sake after 10 years of dedicated service to the organization.
Pam is a leader who was never afraid to get her hands dirty. Whether working alongside the farm crew in the field, stepping into teach programs when extra support was needed, or cultivating relationships and support for the organization, Pam always showed up with commitment and care.
During her tenure, Landâs Sake experienced tremendous growth and change, from operating as a farm with a roadside stand and outdoor education to securing a long-term lease with the Town of Weston and building permanent infrastructure on the farm.
Through it all, Pamâs leadership and dedication helped shape the organization into what it is today.
She was always there when people called, and we could not be more grateful for everything she has given to Landâs Sake over the years.
We wish Pam all the best in her next chapter and look forward to seeing her back on the farm as a CSA member and volunteer.

Whatâs happening in the field: The front flower field was planted with seedlings including strawflower, bachelorâs button, agrostemma, salvia, nigella, bupleurum, cress, rudbeckia, calendula, nicotiana, ammi, verbena, Chinese forget-me-nots, snapdragons, bunny tails, phlox, and larkspur. This means we are that much closer to pick-your-own flowers starting in early July. Looking ahead to June, our pick-your-own pea field is growing strong and will soon be trellised.
On Friday we welcomed our new bees to the farm. This new initiative has been supported by our Bee Mentor Network, whose guidance and generosity helped with planning, sourcing and donating equipment and materials, and volunteering their time.
Thank you to Bernie Scozzafava, Paul Lualdi, and Tim Tippett for helping make this possible.
Our bee initiative is funded in part by the 2026 Bee Grant awarded by The Bee Cause Project. The purpose of this grant is to bring live bees to campuses across the country to engage students in pollinator education, enhance STEAM skills, and inspire a lifelong love of conservation and environmental stewardship.
Stay tuned this summer for bee-related workshops featuring honey and wax!
Special announcement: we will be naming the queen bees at our Solstice Dinners on June 10 and 11. Follow the link in our bio to get your ticket today for the chance to name a queen bee.
Meet the newest members of the farm family! These sweet girls are Japanese harlequin rabbits who recently joined our Education Program. The multicolored bunny is a little over a year old and full of curiosity, while the brown bunny is two months younger and a little more shy until she gets to know you.
On Wednesday, they met seven new friends at their very first bunny circle. Theyâve also discovered one of their favorite farm treats so far⌠fresh dandelions!
Now they just need names! Leave a comment with your best farm-themed name ideas for each bunny.
Our farm crew prepared the fields for onion transplants last week by applying reflective plastic, followed by distributing leaf mulch on the pathways using the row mulcher. Between yesterday and today, the crew transplanted approximately 12,000 onion starts in the field.
