Bright lights and big dreams for a little car
The first time getting up close to shoot @lancerbolt ‘s Lancerlution 3 back in March 2025, while filming a short film. Though shooting at night is nothing new to me, but it just felt magical getting shots of this bright yellow car late into the night, sparkling under twinkling city lights as we drove across the city. Maybe it’s due to having learnt about the car - its quirks, its character and its imperfections - that made it feel more special; as if I was shooting ‘portraits’ for this car in the city it grew up in.
Cheers to more shoots lads, it’s always a joy shooting with ya’ll 🤙🏻 anyway, enjoy two more 35mm film shots at the end and a screenshot from the film I was working on. Maybe one day I’ll make a little edit of the video to post on Instagram hahaha
Farewell, old friend.
Was nice to see 40 Tiang so alive again for one last time, a change from the peaceful place it has been for the most part of the last 20 years. Bringing people, cars and bikes from all sub-cultures together, so many collective memories and friendships were made over the years. Lined with cars & bikes, and cyclists going for one last ride, all were surrounded by friends and community. What a way to celebrate and send off 40 Tiang
