this was shot and completed a little more than a year ago now and i wanted to have this film out because i believe it’s my best work as a writer/director and a good example of what i am capable of as an artist.
i made this film knowing i had to have the right people to tell this story that speaks on my culture and i had that in making this
very proud and forever thankful to everyone involved with this project for everything that went into making the film i’ve always wanted to make!

this year i definitely want to push the softer indie aesthetic my films and projects tend to have.

and to @imbrandonbates for helping this get done in the small window we had to shoot everything, can’t wait to get work started on that film out there brother!

someone i have great respect for once told me to only chase this if i really loved the art and to let that lead. it’s something that’s stuck with me.
i want nothing more than to follow this through and see where it goes once i finally put it all together. hoping that everything makes sense in the end
