one year of raising kitten ~ one year of having our house ~ and now a whole new chapter w different circumstances meaning a whole lot more of me with my kitten in my house and waiting for josh to finish a tour instead of being with him
winded way of saying “i feel like my husband is at war and im waiting for him to return”
well... it was cold, dark, cloudy, bleak, and at certain points terrifying but here we are - DYFL '25 is complete .
maybe something about this wrapping at the close of a year has me sentimental so throwing a short novel together here. read or don't i do not care.
Touring has never been about me.
i was just a really strange kid that loved music and loved bands so much that i would give anything to be apart of the space. fast forward - getting to be apart of something this large and see this small city come together everyday to make the show happen for not only the band but for tens of thousands of fans everyday? it's something i would've never thought i would be apart of. i honestly don't know how i landed here, how this grew so big, or how we pulled this off but i am so lucky to live in this timeline where everything works out.
to chris: i don't know if i would've survived this tour without you, you are the greatest right hand wizard to ever exist.
to jb and also the band (as if that is remotely the same category): you don't get a big note here but you know i love you all.
to the crew who gives up their comfort to live in this evolving eco system daily: thank you. it really wouldn't be possible without you.
even on the days where i felt like the world had kicked the literal shit out of me - getting to see this thing come to life was an absolute honor.
went to europe hung out with poppy and saw some people places and things most of which i love
also saw the prodigy at least five times and many friends who i (surprise) did not take a photo with
back in america still ripping
happy summer

- got a golf cart
- had a birthday 👍
- lost my insurance 👎
- holiday things with Josh
- fell in love with ethel the brainrot cat
- found more local gem food spots
off for the year, i will be playing stardew valley, cooking all my saved tiktok recipes, and trying my hardest to not leave the house. 🙂↕️
