We were honored to stand alongside our law enforcement community in Sacramento for the California Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremony, paying tribute to the officers who gave their lives in service to others. This year, we remember and honor Officer Lauren Craven, who we tragically lost in the line of duty on October 20, 2025. Her sacrifice, courage, and dedication will never be forgotten. The ceremony served as a solemn and powerful reminder of the risks taken every day, and the strength and commitment it takes to wear the badge. Today, we honor their names, reflect on their sacrifice, and reaffirm our unwavering support for those who continue to serve and protect our communities. As we honor Lauren, we also honor the officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice and all those who came before them, officers who made the same ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities. @lamesapd #CPOMF #LMPD #NeverForget 💙🖤

@relentless_defender is honored to release this pre-order fundraiser design in memory of Officer Lauren Craven, a dedicated and compassionate public servant who tragically lost her life in the line of duty on October 20, 2025. This design was created with heartfelt input from her family and fellow officers and includes personal elements that made Lauren so special. From her love of cats and Uncrustables, to her pride in her hometown of Bend, Oregon, every part of this tribute reflects the lighthearted, genuine, and caring person she was beyond the badge. Her badge number and End of Watch date are displayed as a lasting reminder of her service and sacrifice. 100% of the proceeds from this shirt will go directly to Officer Craven’s family through the Relentless Defender Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible and will provide meaningful support to her loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

It is with deep sorrow that we share the tragic loss of La Mesa Police Officer Lauren Craven, who was killed in the line of duty late Monday night. Officer Craven was returning to the city of La Mesa from San Diego Central Jail when she came upon a collision on eastbound Interstate 8 at Fairmont Avenue. After exiting her vehicle to assist, she was tragically struck and killed by another motorist. Officer Craven’s actions in her final moments exemplified her unwavering dedication to service and the safety of others—a reflection of how she lived every day. Officer Craven was known for her tenacity, courage, and compassion—qualities that inspired her peers and strengthened her community. We ask that you keep her family, friends, and the members of the La Mesa Police Department in your prayers as they navigate this profound loss. Her legacy of service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
