This past Saturday, Lamers Bus Lines was proud to bring one of our school buses to the Packers Safety Playbook event to help teach kids about school bus safety! 🚌💚💛
Children had the chance to learn important safety tips like staying visible around the bus and why it’s so important to listen to their driver. We loved seeing so many families stop by to explore the bus and learn how we all play a role in keeping students safe.
Thank you to everyone who joined for a fun and educational day focused on safety, teamwork, and our community’s kids. Go Pack Go!
🎶 Spotted in Music City 🎶
One of our Lamers Bus Lines motor coaches was recently seen parked outside the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville — and it doesn’t get much more iconic than that.
A big thank you to Daniel for sharing this great photo with us!
Moments like this are a reminder of the incredible places you can experience when you travel with Lamers Tour & Travel. From live music and historic venues to great food and unforgettable sights, every trip is an adventure waiting to happen.

On April 17, severe weather swept across Wisconsin, with 23 tornadoes reported statewide, including an EF-3 that touched down in Ringle within the DC Everest School District.
Thanks to the professionalism and calm under pressure of our drivers and dispatchers, students were safely transported home before the dangerous tornado touched down, damaging Riverside Elementary School and at least 75 homes.
We want to recognize the incredible dedication and bravery shown by our entire Weston terminal team during a rapidly evolving situation. Their focus stayed on the safety and well-being of the students in their care. We’re also deeply grateful to the drivers who staged at Riverside Elementary to assist with transporting those affected. This video was filmed at Riverside Elementary following the storms as first responders gathered at the school and preserved the school’s flag while there.
Moments like this highlight what school transportation is truly about. Thank you to everyone who stepped up when it mattered most and did what you always do—keep our communities safe.
Driver Carmen likes to show off his office views and we are not complaining. The Milwaukee Art Museum is one of those places that stops you in your tracks before you even walk through the door. And our Armed Forced coach looks great parked in front.
Now it's your turn to let us know—where are your favorite places for group travel in Wisconsin?
Where were we?
We’re taking it back to the 1980s with this classic shot of our motorcoaches. But can you guess where we were parked?
🕵️♀️Here's a riddle to help you out:
We toured where cobblestones meet history's door,
Near the hall in the city where freedom rang to the core.
In a national historical park, columns stood under wraps —
And today, doors still closed — the crew filling gaps.
This important building once held our young nation's purse,
But our drivers found parking here — our luck could've been worse.
Let us know where we were in the comments!
❄️ What does it take to get school buses back on the road after a record-setting snowfall? A whole lot of teamwork.
Yesterday in Menasha, our incredible crew bundled up, braved the wind, and got to work moving buses and clearing snow to help get the terminal ready for drivers to return. One bus at a time, they shuffled vehicles around so the lot could be plowed and cleared after the blizzard.
It’s the kind of behind-the-scenes effort most people never think about — but it’s essential to making sure students can get where they need to go safely.
We’re grateful for this hardworking team that doesn’t shy away from tough conditions and always shows up when it matters most.

When the sun is out and the temps cooperate, it’s a great day to wash buses. 🚌
Shoutout to our Menasha wash bay team for tackling all the salt and snow and getting our school buses cleaned up and road-ready. Bonus points for the creative wearable umbrellas to help stay dry along the way. ☔️

Ho Ho Ho! 🎅🚌
Did you know Santa drives a school bus when he’s not riding in his sleigh?
Last week, our very own driver John stopped by Houghton Elementary School to spread some extra holiday cheer and smiles with the students—and it was a joy to be part of their celebration.
From all of us, we wish our students, families, and community a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy holiday season!
Congratulations to Perry on his well-earned retirement! After years of dedication, Perry is officially done with school bus driving and his work in the motorcoach office.
While retirement will suit him well and give him time to work on all his projects, we’re glad he’ll still be behind the wheel occasionally, driving motorcoach from time to time.
Thank you, Perry, for everything you’ve given over the years—and enjoy this next chapter!
