A week on Saturday, Matty James Cassidy (the second hippest man in the Northern postcodes) and Simon Cohen (the consumate fiddler) make a return to The Lamb for a night of singing, guitaring, violining and general merriment. It's always a fine evenng with these two charming chaps. Do come - it's free in as always.
We have the mighty Crock of Bones back at the Lamb next Saturday night. If you've seen them before you'll know just how great they are - foot-stomping, table-banging folk n' roll. Some trad, some classics but mostly brilliant original songs.
Desperate times call for⦠light hearted measures! Please join us for St Georgeās Day this year with a special focus on local Highgate hero George Michael. Turns out he was kind of a saint himself. Weāll have an English inspired playlist, English whisky from some other Highgate heroes, @sacredgin and some St George themed cask ale. With the fab @davethekeyz regular singalong geared towards St George Michael and some low key charidee fundraising. Please join us - free of course - but donations to @londoninnercitykitties or your own fave charity welcome!
Delighted that we have the fabulous Two Gun Mathilda playing at The Lamb on Saturday night. Will be an awfully entertaining, high energy performance Inspired by 1950s and 60s R&B, soul and rock ānā roll. If you've attended one already, you'll know that our gigs are good. Of course, like always, it's free to get in.
Our usual St Patrick's knees-up has been rather scuppered by Arsenal playing tomorrow, so we've shifted it to Wednesday. A wide selection of Irish indie beer (and if you must, Guinness) all at the bargain price of £6/pint.
