Cover reveal! 💗
Surprise! I am so overjoyed to share this really special book that I have been working on behind the scenes since early 2025 with the amazing team at @pagestreetpublishing that you can preorder now!
Watercolor In The Garden was created in response to the amazing feedback to my first book, Watercolor In The Woods. Everyday I receive messages and beautiful pictures of your paintings from following my tutorials. I knew I had to create more!
My intention in writing these series of books was to share a gentle introduction to the medium of watercolour that has captivated me throughout the years, to create an invitation to immerse yourself both in the serenity and splendor of the natural world, as well as to break down the barrier of watercolour painting that can be frustrating.

The Golden Hare is a striking and rare variation of the Irish hare found on Rathlin, which a small island off the coast of Northern Ireland.
What makes them special is that most Irish hares have a brown coat that may turn lighter in winter. But on Rathlin Island, a unique genetic variation produces hares with golden or blonde fur. This is a rare color morph that’s become relatively common on the island due to its isolated population!
I have not only wanted to paint one for years, I also hope that I can get the chance to visit the island to catch a glimpse of them!
I included a gorgeous video from @bbcni which features photographer Tom McDonnell explaining his process of documenting these beautiful hares which seem like something almost from a piece of folklore!
