FG introduces mandatory drug tests for secondary school students.
The Federal Government says the policy is aimed at tackling substance abuse in schools and creating a safer learning environment for students nationwide.
Under the guideline, newly admitted students will undergo compulsory drug integrity tests, while schools are also expected to conduct periodic and surprise drug tests during every academic session.
The policy also prohibits students from using or possessing narcotic drugs and other controlled substances without approval from school authorities.
