@bicicocina
It’s the end of the world as we know it!
Isn’t that kind of exciting though?
The new one we will create together, depends on us!
So Organize! Educate yourself!
Remember what being human is all about!
Working together, feeding one another, taking care of each other 🤌🏽
Houston recently expanded enforcement of its civility ordinance (Sec. 40-352), moving toward broader 24/7 restrictions on sitting or sleeping in parts of downtown and the East End.
In LA, enforcement under LAMC 41.18 has intensified, limiting where people can sit, lie, or sleep in large parts of the city ,especially near schools, businesses, and designated zones.
Different cities. Same direction.
Volunteering with FNB LA as a Houston FNB member made that connection real. When public space gets regulated, community response matters even more.
Houston to LA ✊🏽 same work, same solidarity.

FOOD not motherfreaking BOMBS!!!!
Seems so simple but our demonic overlords can’t get it through their sociopathic skulls
We’ve been trying to expand our programming and trying to build coalition with fellow mutual aid groups!
We recognize the need organize to take on the challenge of dismantling the monstrous empire of capitalism that we exist within..
We’ve been doing much more outreach, hanging out with @allpowerbooks , @communityselfdefensecoalition , @foodnotbombsdtla and others!
Please come join us!
There are so many amazing dogs and dog owners in Skid Row!
We’d love to bring more dog (and cat) food to distribute downtown!
If you have any to spare, or would like to help us glean some food for our four legged neighbors, please contact us!
Last Sunday we were so honored to have members of the Community Self Defense Coalition and Union Del Barrio come by share about their work.
They are on the front lines in protecting us and our neighbors from the forces of ICE and DHS.
Direct, lived experience is so valuable when we come together to organize.
Going forward, Food Not Bombs will be doing our part to bring together all of the groups around Los Angeles doing important mutual aid and direct action work!
Please join us, and become part of the community!
DM for more info.

Practicing mutual aid really is a practice! A practice in working together to create a better world!

After a plea for more volunteers, we were graced by so many new folks interested!
The one thing that all of our predecessors have talked about in a fight against the forces of fascism, is to organize, organize, organize!
All of us must come together and work towards the changes we want to see in the world!
We can no longer just live our lives wishing things were different!
Plus, just chopping veggies with like minded folk is just plain fun!
