First private screening of One In Five (with Five of us)
Months of digital edits, late nights,
and so many hands on this project.
Watching it together, properly,
on a big screen
was one of those moments you don’t rush past.

On Saturday,
lunch at Pinky Lilani’s
for @womenoffuture alumni & wonderful guests.
Female founders.
Different stages.
Same underlying questions.
What I appreciated most
was how unpolished the conversations were.
No pitch energy.
No motivational overlay.
Just people being direct about what’s working
and what isn’t.
Founding can be lonely,
even when things look fine on paper.
Being in rooms like this
helps recalibrate perspective.
Grateful to @pinkylilani
for hosting and continuing to back women
who are actually building.
If you’re a female founder
and you’re having a hard stretch,
my DMs are open.
Also looking fwd meeting up with @smasharani // @ruya_insta . X. #femalefounder #starttoday #support #business
One of the most considered
and genuinely impactful
Female Who Produce sessions so far. Not because it was visible.
Because it was intentional.
The room was built for honesty.
For ambition & real conversations about how we create
better, more sustainable pathways within the industry.
That kind of work doesn’t happen by accident.
Shout to @misscarolinelwilson
for leading with long-term thinking through @undrlndn ,
and to Sondric for hosting a space that prioritised substance over optics.
Sessions like this matter
because progress isn’t created through panels and posts alone.
It’s built in rooms where people, process,
and long-term growth
are taken seriously.
That’s the standard the industry should be aiming for.
Post-production and pre-distribution have been some of the most meaningful tests for
@oneinfive.shortfilm
Reflecting with people regarding this important matter ahead of the project’s release, beyond marketing, has been an incredible community initiative. And that’s just an example of how @laferraraproductions aims to put cause ahead of deployment and growth ahead of popularity.
This film exists for one reason:
to shine a light on men’s mental health and suicide — a reality that is still too often ignored.
In the UK, men account for around
three-quarters of all suicide deaths.
That statistic isn’t abstract.
It’s the reason this project exists.
What’s stayed with me most
is how many hands — and genuinely good humans —
have carried this film forward.
We’re moving closer to release now.
Grateful. Grounded. Committed
More Soon.
Last quarter at the ABZORB listening session by @sondrinc x @newbalancelifestyle . An evening centred on sound, curated by @better__listening in a space by @timeand__space . Good to be in rooms like this, where music and intention speak for themselves. Also my favourite person got a pair of them 👟after. 📸 @nicolettasphotos
2025: directed from the middle of the crosswalk.
Everyone sprinting. Timelines yelling. Hot takes doing parkour.
Me? Standing still. Not frozen—intentional.
Insta needs more vibe, so let’s call it strategic immobility.
Q1: Testing. Mostly myself. Stress tests, belief audits, a few controlled explosions.
Q2: Training arc. The team framework comes to my rescue. Fewer words. Heavier reps.
Q3: Ego left the room. Iteration. Kill what doesn’t scale. Rebuild what does.
Q4: Wrap. No victory lap. Just credits rolling.
Brutally amazing year, wrapping with an amazing life partner.
Coming back in 2026 with receipts.
When crossing, step where you need to.
If you need a hand, I’ll stand here when the light changes.
