On April Fool’s I began a body of work that was foolish to attempt and foolishly executed. Yet here we are. Done. A whole new series of forms and work to explore and know. 🧡🧡🧡 Pieces will be up to view at an upcoming show, debuting this weekend, but these are going to keep coming. This is only the beginning. So to friends who can’t stop by this weekend - fear not. It’s ok! Unlike other launches I’ve attempted, this one has the work already done and deep infrastructure in place to support ongoing growth. So I hope you enjoy as I share these absurdities and I hope you’ll help me share their joy by spreading the word about this weekend’s event (see previous posts and or wait for a bunch of upcoming ones). 🩵🩵🩵 I’ve been dormant, deeply recovering from lots of stuff, and sometimes literally can’t be on my phone for very long at a time for real medical reasons. Any boosts would be helpful and if it takes me a minute to reply to your messages it’s because capacity is maxed, and not at all personal. I’m so delighted to be gently turning paths towards you all again! I’ve missed being in the river together. 💛💛💛

Hello! It’s been a minute. I hope you’re well. Things here are still a bit “adapting to life with a severe spinal cord injury”, but like The Fool, not even a broken back will keep me down. So I’m back: in the studio and here with you. And there’s a purpose, bitch! Over the next month I’m creating a body of ceramic work for the walls and hands - hearts as touchstones - and inviting you along on their creation journey, as well as to their debutante ball on Mother’s Day. Pottery is not a fast art, this is an absurd deadline, and I genuinely don’t know if I’ll be able to pull it off. But better to try and fail than imagine and never know. And it’s time. My field of potential must be sown - it’s been fallow long enough - and what better day to begin than a Full Moon! Already there’s a bit of a bump in the production schedule - I’m behind by 6 hearts. Clay don’t fake and yesterday she was too wet to work. Did manage to make 3 small hearts and a necklace, so not a total bust. Hopefully today I’ll catch up - we will find out together on tomorrow’s episode! Firstly though, an apology: you are going to witness a learning curve - these videos are not polished or fancy and one of them frankly makes me a bit sea sick, but they exist and are a glimpse into a process of creation, so here’s a peek into my joy. The last video :::a Magic Minute with Flow::: is an offering to you in gratitude for your attention: Part of my creativity is time in nature so I’ll close with the hope you take your time and watch the river for a bit. Thank you for being here. I love you. 💚🩵💚
