It’s alive! (The pre-launch page for Tales from the Cryptids, that is.)
In February 2026, Scryptid Games will crowdfund our very first anthology of TTRPGs, fiction, poetry, and other uncanny ephemera
Tales from the Cryptids flips the lens on conventional cryptid lore. In this anthology, cryptids are beings with vivid lives, goals, and stories of their own to share. Enjoy games and other writing featuring popular cryptids like Bigfoot, Mothman, and Nessie, as well as new takes on cryptids and creative reflections on the wondrous in the everyday.
Tales from the Cryptids is edited by @bwinterose (author of the award-winning TTRPG, Psychic Trash Detectives). It features cryptid illustrations by tattoo artist @theartofamberramirez and includes games, stories, and poems from a growing list of rockstar contributors including @lackingceremony@sharangbiswas@jasonbcrawford@sawdustbear@aeosworth@storygoose …
… AND YOU!
That’s right! We will open to additional submissions from game designers, fiction writers, poets, and other uncanny contributors in spring 2026!
So please follow the project (link in bio) and help us make this book real!

A collection of solo pervasive games, meant to be played in the margins of your life.
Finding girlhood through witchcraft and bravery through stray feathers. Reaching back to ancient magics and forward to alien encounters. This collection contains four games, loosely defined – each straddles the line between poetry, roleplay, self-help, and magical invitation. They’re all solo pervasive games, meant to be played in the margins of your life. “I’ve had a complicated relationship with my body. These four games draw on my life as a queer trans woman, as someone living with chronic pain and mental illness, and as someone healing through trauma. They together ask the question: what if escapism can help us to return to our body more whole?”

Snuck away for a night of glamping last week, as a birthday treat. Getting to cook outside and build a fire when it got dark was something I've been really missing. 🏕️🔥
Eighteen months with this cutie! ✨💕 This is one of my fave pics of me and Hannah, taken just before heading out to the Fruit Loop queer dance party last spring.
There are only four days left in the crowdfunding campaign for Going For Broke, and it needs your help to make it across the finish line!
Going For Broke is my fast-paced sitcom game about a collective house scrambling to make rent. It's compact, beginner-friendly, and plays in about an hour.
You're a marginally employed, marginally useful, entirely idiosyncratic and eccentric person who gets wrapped up in one of two ill-conceived plots to try to raise some cash. You barely get by, episode to episode.
I'm really happy about how this game came together, but it needs your help to go to print! Pick up a copy, help me spread the word -- we've got four days to make it across the finish line.

Friends! Going For Broke, my fast-paced sitcom roleplaying game about a collective house scrambling to make rent, is currently in crowdfunding!
I would absolutely love it if you checked out the Backerkit campaign and picked up a copy for yourself. I'm proud of this game and think it's a great entry-point into the hobby for new players.

When twitter imploded, I lost a lot of brand momentum and I've been pretty quiet since then. I'm working on rebuilding now - in part because I have some new work that I want to release over the next year or so.
