Immanuel + Julia
Clouds, fog, and wind couldn’t hide this love.
On the day Immanuel proposed to Julia, the Golden Gate was still visible while the wind showed off its strength. But instead of getting in the way, it made everything more magical. The bridge peeked out just enough to remind us of where we were and the wind added such a dramatic effect to the moment. 💍 The way Immanuel looked at Julia and the way she said yes made the love in the air almost tangible. These are the kinds of moments that remind me why I love capturing proposals because no matter the setting, love always takes center stage. ❤️

The reception at Garrapata Park was so bad we couldn’t find each other 😅
Golden hour was slipping fast, the light was fading, and I was honestly scared he might propose without us there.
But he waited 🤍
What followed was pure magic...golden hour giving way to blue hour, raw emotion, and a proposal that felt even more cinematic and beautiful. Experience has taught us to stay calm, adapt in the moment, and keep the focus on telling the story.

What a wild and beautiful day. 🌧️
The forecast said 100% rain, and their proposal was supposed to happen at Garrapata with that iconic backdrop… but between the mud and the downpour, we had to pivot fast. I scouted around and found the sweetest little spot in Pacific Grove, complete with a gazebo (bless!) and not too far from Carmel.
And somehow, the rain paused exactly during his proposal. We finished their entire session dry, and the moment we wrapped, the sky opened up and the rain came pouring down again. Talk about perfect timing and Mother Nature showing off!
Also, I promise I don’t know anything about birds 😂 but every time we photograph a proposal, they always fly by like they’re celebrating too. And this one was no exception.
So grateful these two were down to go barefoot on the beach for some fun shots. Cinematic, sweet, a little awkward, and totally them. 🤍
