From welcoming the MNM Start To DJ finals into Lab of Tomorrow, where emerging talent faced off in an intense live showcase, to hands-on learning moments with the DJ Academy, Winamp and ModemuX, this month brought different parts of the creative ecosystem together under one roof. Ideas were exchanged, skills were built, and new collaborations started to take shape. Across every moment, the focus stayed on growth through experience, learning by doing, and strengthening the creative ecosystem from within. The ModemuX Stage Manager Academy moves into its most visual chapter yet at Lab of Tomorrow: Light & Video Essentials. We’re breaking down the wall between "programming" and "physical reality." “A Stage Manager needs to speak the language of both the LD and the VJ. Yesterday, Lab of Tomorrow welcomed a vibrant community to explore the future of live music. A key insight is that audiences increasingly value live experiences that are immersive, purposeful, and aligned with contemporary social issues. This was day 1 of @icdchallenge x @lovetomorrow_be x @crossmedia.kdg . Yesterday we revealed the mystery client and design challenge to the 60 participating students at @laboftomorrow . After an amazing tour we headed to the Holy Grounds for an informative walk. Today, students started ideating their first creative concepts, which they will pitch to @lovetomorrow_be this Wednesday. 🎥 by: @lennartmiddendorp - ICDC is an annual design competition – a true battle of the schools. Sixty students from some of Europe’s leading programms in visual design, communication and strategy work on a project for a renowned client (the mystery client). Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences and Arts (KdG), Love Tomorrow and iO are co-organising the fifth edition of the International Creative Design Challenge (ICDC) from 9 to 13 March, for the first time in Antwerp. A Community Talk on AI in Entertainment with @datameister.ai and @flandersgamehub opened honest conversations about technology and creativity. @bluemoonav welcomed Lab of Tomorrow behind the scenes, and together with partner Logitech, the space became a meeting point for ideas and innovation.
