Last night Americana Folk singer songwriter Genevieve @la.vieve made her debut at the @songwriterssoapbox in Bakersfield at the Historic @Ethels_old_Corral . Bakersfield's @shonticemariemusic invited Genevieve to perform a half hour of her original music in an effort to bridge the gap between the Los Angeles and Bakersfield music scenes. Genevieve was joined by Bakersfield's most sought after and respected guitarist Kyle Appleton @krappleton on Lapsteel . Back in February Genevieve and Dave took a trip to Raleigh North Carolina for a little Valentines weekend and to see @theleahhofmann show at @theatreraleigh While in Raleigh we decided to check out the local country scene.. as you can see... we were the only two wearing cowboy hats in the bar. @whiskeyroseraleigh Genevieve and Dave tried to teach these to whippersnappers how to TwoStep.
