@abajour_bp is a DJ duo composed of two brothers originally from Paris. Their universe is oscillating between tones to build-up tinted sonic tapestries, nothing short of an anthology to House music distilled to its most percussive and entrancing form.Â
Abajour is enthusiastic about warm-lighted celebrations, where shadow brings the glow. After many years of exploring parties from Paris, to Berlin and to New-York, they co-funded the [BP] parties in Paris in 2011, a venture which significantly influenced the local queer scene ever since. Hosting day-time events, inspired by outdoor afterparties happening in Berlin, they transformed rehabilitated industrial spots into subversive playgrounds where music, freedom, diversity and aesthetic met.
Abajour is also known for being resident at the CockTail D’Amore parties since 2016 where they delivered captivating 10-hours closing sets.Â
Their performances have spanned many other dancefloors such as Panorama Bar and Laboratory for the Snax party, Whole Festival, Griessmuelhe, Basement in New-York City, Essaim and more.
