Hehe… So Masks also reflects my own journey navigating neurodiversity and the complexities of growing from child into adult. For me, masking and unmasking is about finding safety in the world, and slowly unlearning what no longer serves me while discovering what truly does.
So many of you continue to thank me for my openness and vulnerability through my songwriting, storytelling, and honest posts, and I carry that with me deeply. The more people show up as themselves, the more it invites me to do the same and I hope that openness can flow both ways as we continue to reflect and support one another.
As always, this journey is made easier with a little help from my friends, fans, and supporters.
