Absolutely delighted to announce that my collection of cocktail art is on display at @thaprachanthai in Greenlake through August 23rd! I just love seeing everything up on the walls with this beautiful light. Everything here is available to collect, and there is a mix of originals with limited edition prints, including one or two exclusive first editions!
Thanks to @loca.art for making the connection!
Excited to finally share a closer look at some of the art in my latest series, "Back to Where I Ignite." These loose and expressive cityscapes are everywhere and nowhere, dreamlike portrayals of somewhere you might have visited in your imagination. These paintings came pouring out of me in a few months last fall, and I'm sure there are more to come.

The plague has really taken it out of me the last ten days, but I finally had the energy to put the finishing touches on my new painting! Tape off!

U-district Street Fair is this weekend! This is the first of my summer season full weekend pop-ups and always such a great time, rain or shine. This will be the first debut for a bunch of new prints and originals I've finished up since December, and I'm so excited to share them all with you!
Come find me in the red zone 11-7 Saturday and 11-6 Sunday!
Beyond delighted to see my first two ever pieces of collage out on a wall in the world, alongside 36 amazing artists. Check them out starting tonight at Push/Pull π
I had a lovely little display opportunity appear short notice, so I'm getting organized to take all these beauties down to Belltown on Monday! I've got a mix of prints and originals that will be available - some of which will be up in public for the very first time π
Stay tuned for details!
This one is a vulnerable post on a few fronts, y'all. Back in January and February I was not in a great place on the brain front. I had a death in the family, like many I was struggling with the news out of Minneapolis, and seasonal depression was hitting me hard. Instead of feeling my feelings, I was ignoring them - scrolling, trying to paint them away, generally dissociating.
One day my sadness and fury came to a head and I decided to take it out on paper. I got into my stack of old abandoned art - things that didn't come together or that I'd lost enthusiasm for - and I started ripping it to shreds, letting my frustration out in a physical way. And then, on a whim, I started gluing the pieces to a board. When I came up for air, I had something beautiful, and I found an unexpected catharsis.
It feels so tender to share these two pieces with the world, both because they are my first collage and because of the emotions behind them, but I'm going for it π βA Necessary Rageβ and "The Darker These Days" will be on display with a bunch of other fantastic collage art at Push/Pull starting this weekend.
Now that it has been gifted I can finally show off this 18x24" beachscape that I painted for my mom's *cough* (ChristmasBirthdayMothersDay) housewarming gift π She and Holden the Golden seem to think it will look nice in their new place!
This is only the second landscape larger than 12x16" I've tackled, and it's been feeling nice to paint bigger lately π₯°
A little cocktail week encore.... Finish a plank mounted print with me!
I don't usually offer these on my website because they are very labor intensive, but I have some extras from last week, so you can find them on my site for a limited time π in bio!
Find me at Ghost Gallery 12-7 today during the Carnival of Cocktails! We'll have wonderful N/A Spirits from Seedlip and Ritual with some fantastic local bartenders πΈ
Today's featured original Watercolor Cocktail is one of my favorites - believe it or not I only used 3 tubes of paint to get all the different color mixes in this work. It's currently gracing my bar, but I'd love to send it to your home instead πΈ
