We met at The Glimmerglass Festival in 2023, and the following year we both performed in Calisto! Kyle also took part in our very first AAPI Artist Roundtable Discussion, alongside so many other inspiring voices from the program. The audio from that conversation was later woven into a Kapwa commission by Amane Sakaguchi (@amane_kosaburo ) titled “Echoes in the Rice Field”, beautifully performed by Amane and Emmalena Huning (@____emmalena ) in our Kapwa Recital! 🎻🌾
New company and role debuts, continued work in between as a regular chorister with the SF Symphony, and as a side hustle, defending the world from the evil Gwi-Ma and sealing the Honmoon. It’ll be a great season!
