Just got back from an incredible trip to the Canadian Rockies and Banff! 🌲🏔️ I’ve teamed up with @HikingBangers to share some of my favorite shots from the adventure. Today marks 32 pounds lost since I started my cut. Here's a progress update with some before and after shots
For my workouts, I focus on heavy resistance training with compound movements for back, chest, and legs, using progressive overload. This means pushing myself to failure on nearly every set while gradually increasing the weight over time. I'm actually stronger now than when I started my cut. Many people cut too hard and end up losing muscle. To avoid this, it's crucial to track your macros. Muscle is much harder to build than fat is to lose, and without proper tracking, you'll lose definition when you hit your target weight
MyFitnessPal has been a game-changer for my fitness journey. It makes tracking calories and macros super easy. It's kept me accountable and motivated, and seeing my progress over time has been incredibly rewarding
Reflecting on my weight loss journey, it's unfortunate but true that people treat you differently based on appearance. Many told me I looked fine and didn't need to change, but that mindset can be detrimental to self-improvement. I've noticed people treat me differently now-whether in business, personal, or romantic relationships, or even in customer service interactions. People often say one thing but do another. Since then, l've learned to stop listen to what people say and watch what they do. At heart, I'm still the same guy, but the world only sees you as you are now in front of them, not your potential.
There were constant interactions while eating out or hanging out with friends, and unfortunately, our society often encourages binge drinking and overeating. I frequently told waiters and waitresses I didn't need as much food, or declined free chips or guacamole at places like Chipotle. It's about discipline and saying no, and they always looked at me so confused, like
"you don't want free food??"
I haven't reached my ultimate health goal yet, but I can say for certain this is the best shape I've ever been in at 31

Paddleboarding on a glacier in Alaska was WILD 🧊
We spent the past week exploring the Chugach Mountains with @alaskahelicoptertours 🚁 which are some of my favorite mountains to date. The sweeping views were absolutely insane. We were primarily around the Knik Glacier area, which runs 25 miles long and several miles wide. It’s crazy that this place is only an hour from Anchorage, too! I can’t wait to share more 🙏🏼
