Last November I was thinking about how isolating working from home on a computer can be, and had a dream to lease a warehouse and turn it into an office with an adjacent indoor skatepark. My endlessly supportive girlfriend helped me find an available warehouse space in Ashland (almost immediately) and upon moving in, I texted @tyler_albright87 a crudely drawn picture of an 8ft vert ramp on a sticky note at like 10pm and asked if he thought it was possible to build. Within hours of texting him, he had a full list of materials and a quote, and then completed this massive project in the span of a week. Can’t thank @steelheadconcrete enough for bringing this dream to life and I highly recommend that you hire him to build your dream ramp / skatepark too!
And a huge thanks to @lsaiahfava@mylesarnaud@david_delladio@cream_mummy and Dylan for helping put this thing together, and @andrewhgelles aka @substanceskatepark for the help/encouragement 🙏
I still don’t know what the order of operations are here, but the dream would be to make this thing available to the public eventually, but the insurance costs for that are pretty wild. In the meantime thanks for the messages, and I do want everyone to come skate it but I’m still just trying to get things cleaned up in there and make it safe as possible.

In April, Tereza and I loaded up my truck and drove to Texas on a whim to see the full solar eclipse. 🚗🌀 We got to see so many old (and new) friends along the way, ate a ton of beef jerky, stayed in some genuinely scary motel rooms, took several hour detours to skate drainage ditches, swam in every body of water we found, and remarkably she still liked me when we got back. 🤍 *Reposted because it cut half the video off*
