2022 has been a busy year, and I feel SO fortunate to have been able to spend it entirely with
@the_climbing_academy ! It started in Saint George before whirling through life-living in Chattanooga, Kalymnos, Kyparisi, Leavenworth, Montana, Ten Sleep, Leavenworth again, Gorges du Tarn, Siurana, Margalef, the Red River Gorge, and another Chattanooga chapter before I was lucky enough to make it ‘home’ through the snow and ice storms just in time to be festive with my family 🍀 I got to climb a lot, but more importantly I got to connect with these beautiful places and with my brilliant students and fellow teachers/coaches through this activity and lifestyle. Climbing still has SO much to offer me, and so much of that comes from connection. Everyone who climbs outside has seen and felt how much energy can be found in nature…how else can you explain the roots of those deep feelings of motivation that set things like ‘practice’ or ‘training’ into motion?

What a life…I have TOO many thoughts about it to be able to share here. I’m already missing being part of this group of people that made this past year+ of my life feel so memorable, and so meaningful, but I’m also beyond excited for the possibilities living within what comes next!! Thanks to every one of you who shared a conversation, an adventure, or a slice of your own motivation with me throughout this past year…those are the things that inspire me and keep me hungry for more 🌱🦋
