Selection of flowers on 35mm
The orchid is a little less crispy on film, but I like the colors and feel of this better than the previously posted digital shot.

Pretty happy with how my film exposures are turning out. Most all my shots aren’t muddy anymore, and I’ve learned to meter to how I’d like to see the film develop not just hoping for the best. It definitely takes a little more time to set the camera, but it’s getting faster.
I culled through hundreds of trash digital shots because there is no limit to the madness. Film makes you stop and think about hitting the shutter button because each time you do it’s roughly $1.25. Not every pull is perfect. I wouldn’t show you everything, but the culling process is much more enjoyable and edits are nearly nonexistent (mostly just pulling down the highlights). It’s genuinely fun.
I’m looking to get a medium format camera next.

I grew this flower, so I took a picture of it.
Haven’t picked up the digital camera in awhile, but glad I did.
