I took these photos in Cape May the summer of 2008 on my 35mm Nikon. The algorithm prob won’t show it to anyone bc they don’t have my face. I had about 6 rolls of film from around this time from various places sitting in my closet that never got developed. They moved with me a myriad of times since then and I finally got them scanned over the fall. They were so old I had no idea what would be on them. I actually really love them at a larger scale, I wish I could share them not as literal thumbnails like this shit app allows.
2020 was actually our 10th year together. Never felt like the right time to celebrate. But I’m so happy I’ve spent the last decade with him. Our relationship started as long distance from NY > Philly and once I moved to NY, Harry soon started touring all the time. A few years back I remember he was away every weekend of the year. If he was home I’d often be working a gig with long hours. I always saw good in this aspect of our relationship. It gave us space and made time together feel like a luxury. This year def sucked, but was the first time we were given an indefinite amount of time. I’m so grateful we were able to share it and be here together.
