My super funny, smart, and kind friend Mackenzie Larivière passed away this week. The number of people who love her says everything about who she was...
If you have anything to spare, I would be deeply grateful for a donation to help support her family as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Link in bio.
I miss you friend.

My doc short We Should Talk is screening at the LA Short Film Fest this Sunday, April 13 at 1 PM — and it’s nominated for Best Film! 🎉
I recently moved to Chicago and won’t be there in person, but if you’re in LA (or know someone who is), I’d love for you to check it out and cheer it on!

Last week, we made the very difficult decision to put our best boy Vinny Snuggles to sleep.
He was in the hospital for a week, and although several doctors tried their best to help him, we eventually ran out of options. I was able to be with him, and it was very peaceful.
I found Vinny running on a street in North Hollywood. He was filthy, covered in fleas, and had no ID. He quickly became my stage 10 (maybe 11) clinger and settled into the good life!
He was by my side for some of my 20s, all of my 30s, and into my 40s. I’m grateful for all the years we had together, but it still doesn’t feel like long enough.
We miss him so much. I really don’t remember life before V Snuggs ❤️
