Last weekend marked @kwadsrus ’ first race of 2025 with the 200G Indoor Series # 29 at the @chilliwackheritagepark . It’s always fun to race in such a big indoor space, except video conditions are challenging. This time we’ve set up pilot area in a better spot which improved video reception, slightly? Pics from last Saturday’s event, where we raced the Maple Spec for the first time. It was an awesome experience! With drones limited to 18K RPM, the slower speeds helped narrow the competition gap and made for more intense head-to-head racing. Each pilot received 2 sets of the new @gemfanhobby 51377 MAX props to test and race with, thanks to @teamcanada.fpv . These props are incredibly durable—some pilots made it through the entire event with just two sets! Big congratulations to @zenith.fpv for taking TQ and P1 🥇in A Mains’ Chase the Ace, with @flywithmefpv finishing P2 🥈, @race_miata in P3 🥉, and @matt.desousa securing P4 after bumping up from B Mains. B Mains: P1 @matt.desousa P2 @pairadime P3 @vita_fpv P4 LowJack C Mains: P1 @vita_fpv P2 @dolphinaphinity P3 @boykesan Inspired by Freedom Spec, the Maple Spec introduces fewer restrictions and emphasizes in three key elements: • 533g minimum weight • 50xx or 51xx size props • 18,000 RPM limit using KAACK 4.4 or 4.5 • Any motor size and KV • Any LiPo battery • Any ESC firmware Our aim with this spec is to create a safer and more controlled indoor environment for 5-inch drone racing. We’ll be announcing dates for upcoming indoor races soon, so stay tuned!

Good times at the KRU Open Class Series #1! Although attendance was lower than usual, we still made the most of it, flying tons of packs on a custom track that featured plenty of fun elements, including the dive gate!

It’s a wrap! We’ve successfully hosted 3 @MultiGP Global Qualifier events, each better than the last. We have to admit that yesterday’s race was incredible. We had a blast both on and off the track. Splitting pilots into ABC brackets definitely made it worthwhile and exciting to watch. Huge thank you to @teamcanada.fpv and @gemfanhobby for providing enough 51366 REV3 props for the whole day. Everyone loved racing with those! Congratulations to @flywithmefpv for clocking in the fastest top-3 consecutive laps of the day with 38.659s (#108), followed closely by @zenith.fpv at 38.770s (#111) and @gab707_fpv at 39.490s (#118). The 2024 Summer @MultiGP Global Qualifier is in the books! We were fortunate to have perfect weather for flying until late afternoon when the wind picked up and light rain started. We hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed flying the Summer GQ track. Congratulations to @flywithmefpv for recording the fastest top-3 consecutive laps with 39.449s, followed by @zenith.fpv at 43.043s and @race_miata at 43.965s. @illmattak and @jupiter_boltt made a strong comeback after months off, clocking in at 47.415s and 49.711s, respectively. Congrats to all the pilots for completing 3 consecutive laps.
