Figuring out a collapsible box structure that hadn't worked out quite right when I wove it (one measurement was off). So I trial and error-ed a little paper model to get the proportions right. Bonus shot of the chaos left on my desk after.

Woven over 6 months ago, and finally cut... This piece was woven to see how @holly__mcquillan 's expanding float structure would behave when woven using the monofilament and shrinking yarns I use to create 3d textiles. It hasn't been shrunk yet (the bottom layer contains a heat-shrinking weft), but it's already looking great.
