I honestly don’t even know where to begin.✨️
After 14 years of doing drag . Pouring my heart, soul, and passion into something that has truly become my life , being nominated for the Medea Awards Mx Congeniality means more to me than I can put into words.
To everyone who voted for me: thank you. The love and support has been overwhelming in the most beautiful way. As someone who doesn’t always find it easy to accept compliments, or good things happening to them , I really felt it !
To the incredible finalists beside me: you are more than colleagues ! You’re friends, sisters , my chosen family. To share this space with you is an honour, and I love you all .
From Shannel La Devil (a name that lasted maybe three chaotic nights 😅) to Ellectra Kute .This journey has been shaped by the people who lifted me up along the way.
Felicity ...nearly 20 years of friendship. You helped build me from the inside out and taught me self-love when I needed it most. I am who I am because of you.
Moving to Melbourne felt like starting again, but it gave me a chosen family that keeps growing every year. I’ve learned that sometimes the only barrier to belonging… is me .
Brendon , my soul friend , thank you for showing me how to live, not just survive. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you.
Being able to be apart of something as amazing as Dragged To has changed my life in ways I could not of dreamed of .
At the end of the day, I’m just grateful ... for all of you . My family, blood or not , the love, and this moment.
