Brooklyn Towhouse Update #9. Completing the entryways: A classic Brooklyn townhome vestibule was updated and complimented by the addition of a modern mudroom to ensure a gracious arrival for guests as well as a contained tidy entry for the realities of everyday. Designed by @space_exploration_design, we painted with @farrowandball and installed custom millwork in the mudroom adding storage and closets to maximize space. New steel and glass doors were installed fabricated by @irondoors. Architecture: @kushnerstudios

Brooklyn Towhouse Update #9. Completing the entryways: A classic Brooklyn townhome vestibule was updated and complimented by the addition of a modern mudroom to ensure a gracious arrival for guests as well as a contained tidy entry for the realities of everyday. Designed by @space_exploration_design , we painted with @farrowandball and installed custom millwork in the mudroom adding storage and closets to maximize space. Our Brooklyn Townhouse Project Update #7. Interior doors, stones, fixtures and wallpaper are now installed. The beautiful new fireplace is Breccia Capraia marble - the curved custom stone door casings required highly skilled fabrication and marble sourced by @basstonenyc and carved by @beyondstone - a custom banquette has been milled and installed and new dining to living room doors applied. A hint of the fresh new @graciestudio Foresta wallpaper is glimpsed. Herringbone white oak floors with @bonapro.us finish. Principal @kushneradam ’s lecture @rpiofficial was a big hit on many fronts. He enthralled a hearty group of bright young minds on the wonders of #3dprinting & spent much time post lecture having in-depth discussions with those who found the subject especially engaging..In a poignant moment, he was happily surprised to begin his lecture with a slide about himself that gave a shout out to his father, by inserting a photo of #BuzzAldrin stepping out onto the moon's surface. Adam's father worked for Grumman Aerospace and was intimately involved in the @nasa Apollo Program..As he stepped off of the elevator he encountered the very same photograph as he walked through the entry of the George Low Galley, @Georgelow being an RPI Graduate and the head of NASA during those heady days of the space race...#RPIArchitecture #3DPrinting #FutureOfConstruction #RPI #KushnerStudios #GuestLecture #architecture

We have added the beautiful arched Breccia Carpraia marble entries and kitchen island sourced from @basstonenyc and carved by @beyondstonenyc and a @graciestudio wall covering in the banquette room. In the kitchen we have installed @lacanche.officiel range, @faberhoods and @waterworks fixtures as well as a custom nickel plated backsplash by @citymetalworks. New steel and glsss windows added by @irondoors. The cabinets- solid white oak with millwork by Mastro Custom.
