Special sessions tailored for Jamaica’s young Diasporans are coming this June at the 11th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Conference #BJDC11, and the conversation has already begun. Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Honourable Alando Terrelonge (@thelockedwonder ), met with young Canadian-based Jamaicans at a Youth Meet ‘N’ Greet in Toronto on Wednesday, one of several engagements being held ahead of the Conference. The session, hosted by the Consulate of Jamaica at Toronto, opened the floor for frank dialogue, giving youth the space to share their concerns, explore solutions and discuss how their voices and energy can shape the future of Diaspora engagement. The conversation will continue in Montego Bay this June. You can join the conversation by registering for the Conference at bjdc.mfaft.gov.jm (link in bio). #mfaftja #bjdc11 #toronto #JamaicaInJune
