Centered around the core concept of “Transcending Spaces,” the artist interweaves iconic Macao elements—such as its UNESCO World Heritage architecture, Portuguese-style cobblestone streets, and almond cookies—with quintessential New York and COACH symbols, including REXY, the COACH Signature logo, the Empire State Building, and food trucks. Through a process of architectural deconstruction and reassembly, these motifs converge within a surrealistic space, transforming into “keys” that connect the two cities. The work artistically blends the urban landscape of New York with the unique fabric of Macao, constructing a fantastical dialogue across two metropolises. By dismantling and reimagining architectural forms, the artist allows the cultural symbols of both places to collide and merge freely within the space, evolving into a visual link that bridges East and West.
