This was X Games star Colby Raha’s world record attempt at Caesars Palace on Sunday 🏍️ Raha holds the current record and wanted to clear 100 feet to beat it at the iconic fountains that have been the site of similar jumps over the years, including Evel Knievel’s famous bone-shattering attempt on New Year’s Eve, 1967. Members of Knievel’s family were in the audience on Sunday as Raha made the jump.
🌡️Last week, on a record-setting Monday, I spent the day with HELP of Southern Nevada to learn how the homeless community they serve copes with rising temperatures in Las Vegas.
