For the last 3 months it was a heavy rollercoaster of not being able to do sports, immense stress and lots of sitting. An injury (and a very loud veto from my lower back) forced me to stop pushing watts and start facing the things I’ve been ignoring for years. Being sidelined gave me the chance to finally work on the not-so-gucci foundations that I never had the “time” for:
Hallux & Foot Mobility: Rebuilding my connection to the ground. Turns out, power starts at the toes. 🦶
Core & Stability: Realizing that a good VO2 max is useless if your center can’t hold the tension.
Stretching: Moving from “I’ll do it tomorrow” to making it my daily non-negotiable.
I had to stop moving to finally move forward. I’m not back to my peak yet, but for the first time, I’m building on a foundation that won’t crumble the next time I push hard.
Today I signed up for the Pannonia Gravel race. Haven’t done competitions since I was a teenager. Let’s see how this will turn out, but hyped for sure. 🚲🚀

Life is a rollercoaster right now. We are in the final phases of launching Chumy and the learning curve is steeper than Hadersfeld. So I thought of sharing unasked insights, not business ones ( i leave that for the AIs of LinkedIN ). But between running one company, co-founding another one, being a husband and father you must love every moment life throws at you and it’ll be the most exciting time - all the time.

My whole life, I’ve always questioned decisions in the past. ‘What if I went this way, not that way? What if I said this instead? What if I took this job instead of doing this?’ Day in, day out, I would find myself in the misery of living in fictional versions of my past, turning every ‘here’ into ‘there,’ mindfulness into bitterness.
In 2024, my daughter Coco was born—the best thing that ever happened to me. But besides making every day better than the next one, Coco did something else. She changed my past. I realized if I had changed anything in the past before Coco, she would have never been born. Ultimately making every decision I ever made in my life the best decision I ever could, because it brought me Coco.

March had everything. Launching a new company, bureaucratic and health speedbumps along the way, but progress keeps you straight. I’m grateful for having my family and business partners support me along the way. Back to fermenting Kimchi and spinning behind the decks. Gosh i missed DJing so much. Thx @real_schampus_ghost for making me come back from retirement. Also happy that I didn’t go crazy not being able to cycle properly for almost a month due to sciatic nerve problems. At least I finally was able to put some weight on—in a good sense. Also Whoop says I’m Gen Z 🫠 . Here’s to the next hickups and learnings.
