15 years ago from today, May 14th, 2011. From a performance in Lil Saigon Eastside San Diego. There was a battle side of me, a cypher side, and a performance side, nuances to them.

One of my Street Fighter 6 matches. Watch till the end. The rage quit made my character stay in the Level 4 drunken idle animation. This is me during Lao New Year 🤣🔥🤟🏻

Meet one of our performers for our birthday bash coming up this Thursday!
Krysada “Binly” Panusith Phounsiri is an award-winning Lao American artist working across dance, poetry, and photography. As a professional dancer with international accolades, a published poet (author of “Dance Among Elephants” and “Every Passing Minute,” and recipient of the 2016 Rhysling Award), and a photographer whose “Secret No More” exhibition, supported by the Critical Refugee Studies Artist Grant, highlights the Lao American experience, Krysada’s work powerfully explores and integrates Lao/Southeast Asian American identity into the broader cultural narrative.

My Rounds during the SacTown Underground 2013 NorCal vs SoCal Exhibition Battle, Flashback Friday. That was a dope exhibition, haven't seen a NorCal vs. SoCal Exhibition Battle in a long time, would be good to have one with this generation.

This final battle, and the event in general, was memorable to me. Two SoCal Crews with cats repping San Diego, OC, and IE made it to the finals in a NorCal Jam in Sacramento. Killafornia vs. Freakshow. Given The Calamities' history with Freakshow, it made me happy we both made it to the finals. We both gave it our all. This was 13 years ago.
RIP Lil Sin

Happy Birthday to my Mother. My Queen. Today is a huge milestone, 60 years old. It's beautiful to be here with you, as a loving son. I love you so much.
As a child, I saw it all. The trauma, the pain, the struggle, the push of love to take care of your children. It made me self aware very early in life. I felt protective of you as long as I remembered. I saw what you went through, and yet, I still needed you as a Mother, the woman who would teach me how to love. There are days I miss being a kid, seeing you moving around the house, cleaning, singing, playing your favorite songs (the song playing right now is one of them) that made me feel something in my heart. I was a kid at peace when you were at peace.
I love you so much. I hope I made you proud as a son. We begin a new chapter with your birthday, a new house, and the Year of the Horse which is your zodiac year. Let's continue to make life worth all the happiness we deserve through the struggles. You deserve EVERYTHING good, and all the love coming your way.
Happy Birthday Mom!
