I made this song about my late father and our not so normal life. I loved him very much but it was not your average father/son relationship. I have never really talked about it much but when my father passed it really messed me up. Partly because losing a parent is one of the hardest things we go through in our life, but also because I never really had a normal relationship with him. He was a drug addict & in and out of my life most of my childhood & teenage life, and even as an adult he lived on the other side of the country and I didnt see him often. Though we had grown closer in my adult years, it was still never a traditional father/son relationship and when he passed I still had a lot of unanswered questions. I still havent fully dealt with it, but after a few years now I finally got the courage to let it out and write a song about it. I know a lot of people probably have a similar story as mine and I just wanna let you know you're not alone here.
