When they took the stage they looked very unassuming… when the sound hit all bets were off. Krosis brings a ferocious sound that flows with a delicate design.
Krosis is a progressive deathcore / technical death-metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina, formed around 2014. Their sound is marked by complex riffing, dynamic tempo changes, atmospheric passages, and dense technical arrangements that push beyond traditional deathcore boundaries. They have a new EP Infinite Circuitry released in October 2024 under Seek & Strike. Krosis played at Chapel of Bones in Raleigh on October 11, 2025, sharing the stage with Cultus Black, Crossbreed, and others. Their technical proficiency makes them a standout in the local scene, blending brutality with intricate musicianship. #KrosisNC #ProgressiveDeathcore #TechMetal #RaleighMetal #ChapelOfBones
Holy hell, Krosis came out swinging and never let up. This North Carolina progressive death metal force hit The Chapel of Bones with full-blown precision, violence, and groove. The crowd erupted the second they hit the first note, and from there it was pure chaos — bodies moving, heads banging, pits opening, and no one left standing still.
This band is technical brutality at its finest. Mitchell Martin commanded the stage with monstrous vocals that cut right through the mix. Adam Thiesson and Brandon Scurlark shredded with surgical precision, layering riffs that felt both melodic and destructive. Brian Krahe’s bass tone was absent this go round, and Nathan Andrew’s drumming was an absolute clinic in speed, control, and fury.
@krosisnc isn’t just playing death metal. They’re redefining it. Every song feels like a calculated strike and every live show leaves the audience wrecked in the best way possible.
