Last April I started sharing my passion for garment construction online. Now, one year later I am part of @googlepixel and @highsnobiety PIFT programme designed to push fashion forward.
The last few months I had a lot of pinch me moments. Being on such a big set, working with so many great artists and being chosen to be part of such a cool project still feels surreal to me.
We had an amazing launch event in Milano during design week and I am very looking forward to working on this throughout the year.
Thanks again for having me, I feel very honored to be part alongside so many amazing brands! ❤️
This is the latest development from our studio. Its made from black satin fabric and this laced back detail. We did 2 toiles and ended up with this version. It‘s always nice to enter new terrain and challenge yourself. This time it wasn’t about creating new shapes. We wanted to craft a second skin and play with lacing :)
I wanted to share this technique with you because I find it very useful and it makes a huge difference in my eyes.
The seam allowance won‘t pull from the inside anymore.
It will just lay nice and flat.
Crazy what difference 1cm at your neck can change right?
Yesterday I explained the relationship of sleevecap and sleeve width to one of my students, after explaining it to her it even made more sense to mee So here l am
So here we are with a new tutoriäial about how to decide on the right sleeve cap height
Would you wear it?
The last two days I was working on my latest
Development
Let me know what you think about this dress. It was inspired by the shape of the bugatti chiron
Today I want to show you how to make the base of a collar. I often see standing collars just drafted from a rectangle but from my experience they never fall nice. I tend to use this now in the most cases when I need to draft a collar myself.
This base allows you a lot of possibilities.
Hope this is helpful for your next project :)
