One day I just started animating, no storyboard, no styleframe, no nothing, just some loose sketches. I really liked this loose flow, it was like animation therapy basically :) Also, i only worked on it when i truly felt like it, zero pressure at all. Thats probably also why it took me almost a year to finish these 11 seconds haha. I still haven't come up with a title tho π
As a kid I used to imagine what would happen if everyone always left a trail of their head behind, that's where the idea initially started :)

π₯2026π₯
As the new year is just around the corner, I'll ramble a bit about my 2025.
Artistically, it feels like I've finally found my little spot. I don't think I've ever been as consistently happy with what I create. The self doubt sometimes still lingers and of course there is always more to learn, but the little imposter syndrome gnome in the back of my head has gotten way quieter this year. This feels super relieving, especially since I ended last year at quite the low in this regard.
Also, as of this year, I'm officially self-employed. Which is super exciting but also sososoooo scary sometimes. I'm incredibly grateful that I get to do what I love on a daily basis, I don't take this for granted!!! Thank you to all my friends, collaborators, atelierbuddies and family for all the support! And thank you to my clients for their trust!
Currently, I'm mostly working on explainer videos. I really like this kind of work because it feels purposeful and also I get to indulge in topics that I wouldn't have otherwise. Aaaand we're making a game where I'm in charge of all the pixelart and animation! I love this medium so much because the limited options make the workflow quite fast, which feels very rewarding. More on the game soon!! π
Again, I'm very grateful for all of this, especially in these hellish times that we're in. I wish everyone a good 2026, take care β€οΈ

It was about little scenes and moments that happen before the film starts at the cinema.
I still quite like them, sometimes I get the urge to still animate it hehe :)
