Today marks a monumental moment in my life, and I want to share it with you all. I am incredibly proud to announce that I have secured the rights to all intellectual property for my nonprofit foundation @projectpowerbykc . I founded Project Power with the vision of making a meaningful impact on the lives of as many teenage girls as possible. I remember hating PE growing up and feeling uncomfortable in PE kits. SO WHY NOT CHANGE IT! For the past two years, we’ve been dedicated to providing teenage girls in UK schools with proper activewear, including sports bras that nearly 40% of them don’t own one and often feel uncomfortable while trying to be active. This year, we aim to gift a big 30,000 units of activewear to those in need. I also noticed that the physical education curriculum is often dull and outdated. With the collaboration of some amazing personal trainers, we have already empowered nearly 10,000 teenage girls to engage in fitness, and we aren’t stopping there! We’re also working on an online portal designed to keep girls active and inspired…there’s so much more to accomplish! While I celebrate these achievements, I want to emphasise something critical…the importance of owning your work. Throughout my journey, I’ve faced significant challenges in business. I’ve been taken advantage of by others, including co-founders who have claimed credit for the hard work I poured my heart and soul into. I’ve often stayed silent, worried about being labeled an “emotional female founder.” But how can I advocate for young girls if I’m not in control of my own projects? So, here’s my message: never let anyone diminish your accomplishments or rob you of your ownership. Stand your ground and take pride in your work! 💅🏽

But baby you can’t give up now you’ve already done such a climb. I know the climb gets harder the further you go and your oxygen runs low, the wind feels colder and the backpack on your back feels heavy but you’ve come too far to just come this far. I’ve been called every name, I’ve been dragged online and I’ve faced so many rejections you wouldn’t even know about. Often left embarrassed but never defeated. Whilst it hasn’t been easy it’s always been rewarding and worth it. I’ve build the most exceptional community and met people who have believed in this nutty vision of mine. Sure I’ve f’ed up so many times but isn’t that the entire point of growing and learning. Be brave enough to not be liked by all, be delusional enough to dream big and if that makes other feel uncomfortable then just remember you’re doing spending right. Love ya 🤍

It’s OFFICIAL, today I signed our 10 year lease to our first ever @oneractive store here in New York City, 0 Bond Street to be exact. NYC felt right, our biggest city, the non stop hustle and to the city that doesn’t sleep… what’s more fitting for us as a brand ? It has been nearly a year of viewing places, rejecting and viewing some more to find the perfect first home for Oner. I still cannot believe it’s official and demo/ renovation starts in 4 weeks time. The concept for the store has been something I’ve poured a lot of love and consideration into and having incredible creatives around me to bring my vision to life makes the whole process that much more beautiful. This hasn’t exactly been an easy journey but every single step has led us to this moment and I am beyond grateful. Buckle up because this is the first store of many me have planned 👀

This week in the Oner Active HQ we cooked and cooked and cooked some more. I cannot believe we shot one of our biggest collabs to date you are going to be shocked when you see it! We continued to improve, refine and create things we know you’ll die over! 10 of our Oner Ambassadors flew to our HQ and a time was had and maybe too many drinks where spilled but can’t work hard and not party hard.
