One thing I love about weddings is when you can truly feel love.
As a photographer, there’s always a list of shots to capture, moments that need coverage, timelines to follow. But that’s only the technical part of the job, the « generic » part.
What I truly love about photographing weddings is noticing the details most people never see.
The small touch of the bride’s hand that shows she feels safe with the man she’s marrying. The look the groom gives her when she smiles. The quiet gestures, the subtle moments that reveal the intimacy and complicity of a couple.
I get to witness it all as if I were invisible, yet standing right in front of it.
There’s something deeply fulfilling about experiencing the love certain people have for one another. And it reminds me that love is rarely found in one grand moment. It’s not the kiss in front of everyone. It’s not even the “I do.”
It’s the little things.
The moments of care. The feeling of being considered. The tenderness expressed without needing attention drawn to it.
Love isn’t a photograph posted on Instagram.
It’s a glance between two people.
A delicate touch.
Something almost invisible, yet something you can deeply feel.
